At St. David’s, we believe that we are called to share the gift of abundance to all through prayer and action. Members of St. David’s work individually and with other churches, community organizations and businesses to provide emergency services to those in need. Through the Circle of Page and its subsidiary programs, we offer financial assistance and counseling, emergency food boxes, holiday food boxes and gifts, summer camp scholarships, clothing and household items.

Circle of Page

The Circle of Page is the umbrella organization for social ministry and outreach formed by St. David’s, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and the Page Community United Methodist Church. Several other churches and community groups provide assistance on a regular basis. The Circle of Page sponsors the Healthy Meals Soup Kitchen at the Methodist Church, the Come to the Banquet Food Pantry at St. David’s, Salvation Army Emergency Aid and additional assistance through Circle of Page funds. They also work with the Elks Club to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes, and coordinate the Angel Tree program providing Christmas gifts for families in need. Volunteers staff the food pantry, soup kitchen or financial aid programs.

Come to the Banquet Food Bank

The Food Bank is located at the Aiken Community Center, 801 Aqua, next to St. David’s Episcopal Church. Come to the Banquet works with local churches, community organizations and businesses to keep its shelves filled. The Food Bank also purchases and receives deliveries twice a month from Care and Share Food Bank in Flagstaff, which provides a mix of foodstuffs and household items. Funds are also used to purchase staples to augment food on hand. With a walk-in freezer and cooler, the Food Bank can accept donations including unopened perishables and frozen food, as well as non-perishables.

Food Boxes are available to families and individuals living at or near the poverty line. One box per month is given out to provide approximately a week of food. The Food Bank is open on Tuesdays between 4 and 6 pm, and on Thursdays between 10 am and Noon.

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army offers emergency financial assistance with utilities to those who qualify. They also offer scholarships for kids to attend the Salvation Army Camp in Heber, AZ.

Healthy Meals

The Healthy Meals Soup Kitchen operates out of the Page Community United Methodist Church. On Mondays and Wednesdays between 3 pm and 5:30 pm, anyone is welcome to a free hot meal.

Angel Tree and Toys for Tots

The Circle of Page works with the local Elks Club, National Bank of Arizona, and local businesses and community groups to collect toys and gifts for eligible families at Christmas.
