Today is our last day worshiping in the Catholic church and at 1 PM in the afternoon. Be sure to thank members of Immaculate Heart of Mary for their wonderful hospitality for such an extended period of time.
------
Yes that means we are going home. Next Sunday, Pentecost Sunday and Mother’s Day, will be our first service in the new sanctuary. Things are happening quickly on site and Low Mountain Construction is committed to getting us a Certificate of Occupancy and having a functional building for us on the big day. Don’t forget. You might even have to set an alarm clock! 10 AM! Bring your friends and neighbors too. It is going to be an emotional, moving day and a magnificent celebration.
-------
We don’t know exactly what the timing is yet, but we can certainly use your help Friday and Saturday as we move into our new space. Let’s plan 9 AM Saturday for moving day and anyone who can check in Friday, please do so.
-------
Join us this Wednesday in the Aiken Center for our meditation worship service. 30 minutes to bring some serenity to your whole week.
------
Following meditation worship is class five of our Inquirer’s class. We meet at 7 PM in the Aiken Center. This week’s discussion is church polity, how we make decisions in the Episcopal church. Come join us.
-------
Saturday is our final big church work day. Come join the party at 9 AM as we lay gravel and spruce up the place for our upcoming Open House and Dedication.
